I heard a phrase the other day and it really struck me. "most people will endure ridiculous amounts of discomfort before they will seek any change" It made me think of how many times in the past I have lived with a nagging pain or emotional discomfort figuring by ignoring it maybe it would just go away. Or worse, telling myself that "this is just the way it is' .
Even when we want to change something in our life, it isn't always easy. We can consciously want something so bad and decide we are going to make things different, but then we find our self right back doing the exact same things we wanted to change. That is because our subconscious mind rules the day. Hypnosis and NLP helped me change that! Getting to the root cause of our ailment and bringing our subconscious scripts into our conscious awareness means we can re-write them for the life we want now.
